Australian Private Reserve began in 2016 with a vision to create elegant, refined, thoughtful, beautiful fragrances for the discerning wet shaver. Dan doesn't use pre-blends or synthetic candle fragrance oils in his products. Only the best essential oils, absolutes, and aroma compounds are used. You get the benefit of their small batch, in-house, thoughtful sourced grooming requisites.
This tallow-based offering is loaded with lathering goodness. Coconut, castor, and sweet almond oils combine with shea butter to provide moisture and glide. Much trial, testing, and research has gone into this formulation.
This is Australian Private Reserves first every citrus, aquatic, so it seems appropriate that it would claim the name Bombora (a indigenous term for a surf break where the sea waves crash over a reef, submerged rock shelf, or other shallow area). It includes top notes of tangerine, cedrat, lemon, bergamot, lime, and aquatic notes. Then a heart of sea breeze, narcissus, freesia, aldehydes, watermelon, & ozone scream clean. Finally a base of ambergris, seaweed, algae, driftwood, amber, & white musk complete the oceanic theme.
