Motivated by the frigid mid-West winter of 2014, Shawn Maher began creating a nourishing, protective post-shave salve that restored his wind-chapped skin. Inspired by the response of testers, he launched Chatillon Lux in Dec. 2015. His business boomed as he added on other post-shave products with wonderful performance and exceptional scents, including a line of fragrances.

A love for his city of South Saint Louis, MO inspires Shawn to take his names and scents from the places and people that inhabited this corner of the heartland. Like this scent, 88 Chestnut Street. This is the original address of Clamorgans, one of the first "emporiums" in St. Louis to import the famous, iconic Eau de Cologne by Farina which led this burgeoning business to expand and grow the men's grooming phenomenon for wealthy patrons. Chatillon Lux has recreated this scent with a modern twist for today's St. Louis (and beyond) clients. Notes of neroli, lemon, bergamot, lavender, orange, petitgrain, grapefruit, and yuzu.
